I am about tell you what seperate’s the people that get it and the people that don’t the truth may suprise you.  Because it is very easy to come online and start a business. Many people jump into internet marketing and think that if they have the right product the money is going to start to pour in. Nevermind the fact that they don’t know the first thing about how to run a business. The biggest selling point of online marketing is the fact that you can do it from your home computer. The second biggest selling point is the fact that yes you can make a boat load of money online.

But you will never see any of it until you change your perspective on the whole situation. You need to understand that people are not buying products , they are buying other people. Your ability to market yourself is absolutely critical to making money on the internet.

People to avoid – Anyone telling you that you should buy a name list and start calling people. But your telephone is your best friend in this industry. You should make phone calls, to people who have raised their hand and said yes I want more information.  I never considered my myself the type of person that is a good salesman on the telephone. But through practice and experience I have no problem on the telephone anymore.

I was that person who did not want to pick up the telephone and call my prospects back. I wanted my “system” to close the sale for me. Sure I made some sales.. But I also had a hard time keeping people in my downline. Once I started calling my prospects my retention rate got higher and I made more sales. People like the personal attention.  Make no mistake about it, if you want to make money in this industry you will have to become a leader and you will have to pick up your telephone.

If you use a really good lead capture system, you will target the right person when you do make your phone calls most of them will be pleasant.  People want you to call them, they are looking for answers.   The best investment you can make in yourself right now is to invest in education. Learn all you can about marketing online and learn all you can about leadership… Invest your money and time into these two things..  Marketing is easy, developing yourself as a leader is not. It is hard work to become a leader and it is a lot of responsibility, but it is something that you must do if you want to separate yourself from the group and be seen as the person with the answers.

One of the best books I’ve read on the subject of leadership is Mike Dillards Magnetic Sponsoring. Its certainly worth spending money on. Learning proper internet network marketing skills is the only way to make money in the mlm industry online.

You will not find success in Internet Marketing or Network Marketing  until you  master a system of marketing. The truth is your income will grow with the level of knowledge you put into your head.  The reason why many people come online and fail is because they try and sell before they learn how to market. Making money online comes down to knowing how to do one thing, and that is becoming a good marketer. If you are going to make money in any mlm business online you will need to learn how to sell other products while looking for the right people to join your network marketing team.  One of the best things you could do for your business is learn how to do stuff.

For Example:  Do you know how to upload a video to YouTube ? Can you use traffic exchanges? These are the types of things you have to teach a newbie coming online for the first time. If you want to make money in the industry help others learn how to make money.

Here some homework for you:

Grab a pen and paper and write down everything you technically know how to do online.. Do you know how to sign up for facebook? Did you Know you can make skype to skype calls anywhere in the world free? Do you see where I am going with this chances are you already have some knowledge that you can share with people. I have news for tons of people do NOT know how to do this stuff.

What can you do with that type of information?

You could make screencast video’s and upload them to youtube.

Do you know how to do that?

If you are serious about learning to market correctly if you really study maybe you will learn enough in about 3 months to start making a dent. I have been studying internet marketing for over 7 and I am still learning new stuff everyday. the more you know the more valuable you become and the result is more money in your pocket…Treat your online business as a real business and you will get reward like its a real business. To many people come online and say they will give it a shot and when it doesn’t work out in a month or two the give up.

Does Self Help Work?

I think inside each of us is the ability to shape our worlds. One persons reality is different from the next. In my humble opinion you need three things to be in order to live a well balanced happy life.

• Spirit
• Mind
• Body

The problem for most people is they never get past every day problems mostly due to lack of having enough money. I personally hate money and see it as needed means to a end. The focus of your life should be cultivating your mind,body and spirit.

I recently researched the topic of personal development and I also looked at the business of personal development. Love it or hate it the numbers keep rising and not going down. The reason the industry is growing so fast is because millions of people globally are looking for answers. Heck people with money are looking for answers.

Nobody can force us to anything, that’s why self help is the best type of help. Once we take accountability for our own actions do we start to have break throughs in life.

Most people reading this blog is in some shape or form is interested in internet marketing. I have been marketing successfully now for a few years. I see and hear the same thing over and over again. I never made no money, I must have gotten involved with a scam, this stuff doesn’t work, I spent thousands of dollars and ended up empty handed etc… The reason for failure is lack of applied knowledge. Just reading is not enough. Most people think they can get by just by placing ads or whatever it is they do.

In network marketing you need to personally reach out and extend a helping hand, you do this by first knowing what you are talking about. To many people come online and just start trying to sell products before they actually know what they are doing. That is a huge mistake and one that can cost you thousands of dollars to learn. That is a true recipe for success online.
