Blogging is becoming more and more popular in many circles.  Many people start blogging  just because they like the idea of putting their ideas and thoughts online.  In the right hands blogging can become the hidden weapon you need to create an income online.  I talk to many people who automatically feel that they need to create a website. While websites are cool and I definitely would say creating a website offers many benefits for the beginner its not the best place to start.

Fact: It is easier to get search engines rankings with a blog than it is with a website

Lately I am sure you have heard marketers talk about “Attraction Marketing” and “Branding Yourself.”  The best way to accomplish this is by using a blog.  With a blog you can paint a descriptive picture about who you are.

Writing in a blog is not like writing in a social network, if you want to see results from your blogging you will have to post to your blog atleast 3 times a week. Don’t cheapen your blog by using other peoples articles all the time. Search engines will not give you ranking.  For the record I have used other peoples articles and there is a balance you should strive for. You want your blog to be informative and entertaining. You will not hurt your blog by using someones  articles , you just won’t get any search engine rankings for that article. Sometimes its more important to keep your readers happy than it is the search engines.

Example: you could go to an article directory and find a article you write and post it on your blog there is a 99% you won’t get ranked for it. The next day you could add your own article and get ranked for it.  So if you find an article that is really good share it,  make sure you add the author’s resource box at the bottom. Do try and add your own content as much as possible…

I have used many blog platforms – The best is WordPress and I say that because it is very easy to optimize your blog for search engine rankings using this platform. There are thousands of free themes you can use. You can also plug your blog into all the major social networks like Twitter and Facebook. (not using these shame on you!)

Blogging should be in your overall marketing strategy.  To make money in the mlm industry you need to be seen as the leader. As you team grows you will need to a place to lead from —> the answer your blog.

One of my favorite pass times is searching for Good YouTube videos. A good way to add informative and sometimes entertaintive content to your blog is by finding and inserting good youtube videos.

There is a massive event happening right under your nose.  Smart marketers are using social networks to get the word out about their business. Blogging is the elephant in the closet very few people talk about.

Social Networking is a very effective form of marketing. If you come off as a pushy salesperson nobody will buy from you.  So when you join social network  become a helpful member of the community.  If you are totally new to marketing than make friends and ask questions, you would be suprised just how much good help you can get from people.

Enter Blogs – Instead of adding links to your business opportunity , start a blog and use your blog as your personal billboard. With a blog you can pretty much sell what you want, write what you want basically you can be yourself.

Blogging is the easiest way for a newbie to get on the internet with little to no html knowledge and start building a business.  Your blog is your point of view its basically represents you.

Blogging  and social networking go hand in hand – To get the most out of blogging and social networks you should use a self-hosted wordpress blog.  I know you may be thinking why should you pay for a blog when you can get one online for free? If you read the terms of service you would realize that you don’t really have the freedom to do what you want on your blog.  This is not my opinion this is a fact, wordpress is the best blogging platform online to operate a business. Unfortunatly you will need a self hosted blog if you want to use wordpress to its full potential.  You can get a hosting account and blog for under $10 a month.

Every day I am amazed at how many people simple don’t actually get it.  Literally everyday some big guru guy blast his or her list talking about the next big product that is going to take the internet by storm.. Do you really believe this is happening for anyone besides the really big guru guy who just blasted his  list?  Hopefully this post will enlighten you to the tools you will actually need to make money in this industry…

Internet Network marketing is actually 2 seperate skills: Internet Marketing – You need certain tools there is no way around it. You must have an autoresponder. Without an autoresponder it is impossible for you to build your own list. Your income will reflect the size of your list. Give them a reason to network with you.  That is why it is very important for you to position yourself as the person who really can help.  If you want to be successful in this business you have to become the sponsor you never had.

Tools you will need: Webcam – You absolutely need this for your business go buy one and learn how to use it. Skype -  Acts as an instant messenger, you can make phone calls through it and you can do face to face video conferences all for free. Use this tool to communicate and brand yourself.

Funded proposal systems – Are designed to help you get paid while you are building your primary network marketing business. If you are building a network marketing business online and not using a funded proposal your are doing it wrong. Without the ability to fund the growth of your business you will be out of business in a matter of months. Create multiple streams of income. Be wary of products that come out and boast they are going to do xyz for you. Make sure you are getting all the facts. If you dig around you find many free tools that can help you build your business. Many times these same tools people are paying a monthly fee for.. Also because many people coming into this industry don’t realize that 99% of everything online has an affiliate program they are missing out on possibly thousands of dollars in sales because the system they are using does not allow them to earn the extra affiliate commissions.

Final Thoughts: Many of the tools we use in marketing are free. You will only find success in the internet network marketing industry when you start helping other people make money. To do that you first have to learn how to make money. In this writers opinion you should never sell your network marketing business and you should always sell you.
