Internet Network Marketing Success

It has been said many times before, the money is in your list. But today I would like to talk about what that really means and how it effects your success online.

How many of you have seen headlines, like “Make $1200 in 24 hours at a push of a button” ? Sounds good on paper and there is more than likely some truth in those types of claims. Of course the person making the claim forgets to mention how big their list is or how long it took for them to build it..

If you want to find real success online you must master the skill of email marketing.

It is not enough to grab someone’s autoresponder messages and hope someone signs up to your business.  Although autoresponder messages are helpful You need to personally inneract with your subscribers. I have yet to meet someone who is  making money in the internet network marketing industry that does not have a list…

There are thousands of programs out there that get opt-ins, this is not the same thing as building your own in house email list..

You need your own autoresponder system to build your own list, the other alternative is to build your list through your web hosting company (which is more complicated to set up and not as practical for most newbies.)

It cost around $20 dollars a month to use an autoresponder service , you have to spend this money, you must have your own autoresponder.. I am telling you right now that the only reason why I make money online is because I have and continue to build my list.  It is an on-goining process every year I am in business my list gets bigger.

It can take months before a person on your email list decides to buy your products.

The one question as a marketer that annoys me most is when a person says to me I got 20 opt-ins and nobody signed up, what gives is this a scam? I have news for these people, getting opt-ins is only 1 part of the equation , and to tell you the the truth its the easy part. The hard part is convincing them that YOU are the person they should be networking with.

My advice–> Get started using an autoresponder, use lead capture pages. The first step to success online is realizing YOU are the product. Once you do that you can begin building your foundation. You will sell products based on your subscribers trusting you.

Tip: Create a blog and attach the rss feed to  your autoresponder this will go along way in establishing credibility with your audiance.

I have used many list builders over the years.  If you look at the right side of my blog you will see all the list builders I do use. I bought all the one-time offers on each of them and I make money when I email out to them.  But here is the issue, the one time offers are so expensive not many people buy them. What that means is as an affiliate program its not that profitable. Not that it matters to me, because emailing to them is profitable..
