When I first started marketing online I didn’t really have anything to say. I mean I never sold anything I had no ounce of success to speak of. Sure I was having success teaching martial arts, but online I had nothing but a burning desire to make money online. You see everyone is running around trying to figure out how to make themselves successful online. Most people probably don’t even realize they are doing this.

In the years that I have been marketing online the problem has been trying to become one of the 5% I couldn’t afford to hire ghostwriters, script installers, copywriters,web designers,etc… The cost can be staggering and most average folks simply can not afford to start a internet business.

Network marketing is the fastest way to start creating your own success story. You can use this success to position yourself as an expert in the industry. Now you have something to talk about.

When I first started my network marketing business I did it all online. After awhile my friends started noticing that I was getting sign ups to my business. I was doing it without ever marketing to my warm market. Once you have proof that what you are doing is actually working, building a business like this is easy.

I don’t ask people to join my business they ask me.

Join a business where you will be taught the ins and outs of “marketing online”. Make sure that whatever business you are in and whoever you are doing business with are able to provide you a “marketing system”

Once you have a system that can funnel leads into your marketing campaign, the rest is history.

Getting leads is the name of the game. Nobody will join you if you haven’t created any success.

But if you can use a system that takes the focus off of your lack of success and puts the focus on the success of your business. This is a win/win situation.

You are creating your success story and building your business at the same time. At some point in the process you will go from being the follower to becoming the leader.

Here is the most important part of the whole process,

Find someone willing to teach you how to “market” without this ability you are going upstream without a paddle.

If you join a good solid team, you will get thousands of dollars worth of “marketing education” for free. Take what you learn and go create your story.

I got news for you its the only way the average person will ever make any money online ever. It cost me so much money in mistakes and learning that I know the average person who is on a shoestring budget doesn’t stand a chance. (Unless someone is willing to teach them for free)

There is no such thing as free, everything comes at a price.

I Need A Credit Card !

Because I have gotten so many emails from people, wanting to join my internet homebased business but don’t have a credit card. I thought I would address this issue the best I can.

Some people just flat out don’t want to use a credit card online. Really though its the only way to get your online business moving. I did some research and found a place you might be able to secure a credit card.

It is 2008 if you are not comfortable using a credit card online I can certainly understand your reason, however if you want to start a online business you need to get over this fear.

My first credit card was a pre-payed credit card. Where there is a will there is a way.

Another option overlooked often is paypal, you can’t use it for everything but there are thousands of different companies out there that accept paypal.

I think everyone should have a paypal account.

Paypal is a good service and can pretty much shop safely. There are other credit card services but I personally don’t trust their reputations.

Generally speaking if you can’t afford a credit card than chances are you are not in a position to start a internet homebased business.

Some advice,

Don’t spend your money on your business until you understand what it is your are suppose to do exactly. Most folks start businesses online that require them to market there affiliate url. They figure all they need to do is start throwing money at it and it will make them money.

Marketing is a skill, all skills need to be learned first. You can do everything right and still not make money.

What I mean is this. Lets say you buy some advertising for 30 bucks and you don’t get your investment back. initially you may look at this as a loss. But that loss is not an indicator that you did something wrong, it could just mean your customer wasn’t looking that day.

Tip: The goal of any internet business is to have a steady flow of traffic coming to your website on a daily basis 7 days a week 24 hours a day. Once you have Identified “your Target Audience” then you can use your credit card as leverage to buy enough advertising to market to them.

Sounds easy enough , the biggest blunder of all is trying to sell shoes to someone looking for a shirt.

The best type of internet homebased business to start is one where you can leverage other peoples knowledge and skill. It will save you thousands of hours and dollars and enable you leverage your credit card.
