Using Squidoo to get backlinks and Traffic

This is just going to be a quick note:

One of the ways I get back links is to create Squidoo lens. They are easy to create and can be built in as little as 30 mins.

If you use some creativity you can get first page rankings for many long tailed keywords. You can also use squid lenses to help get your webpages indexed by search engines.

Make sure to get the word out about your lens. A good way to do that is to post your lens on your blog if you have one. Don’t have a blog yet?

Definitely start writing in one it can only help your business.

Internet Marketing Mistakes To Avoid

Internet Marketing can be very profitable avoiding some of the more common mistakes will save you much grief.

The first mistake most newbies make is this:

You get a new product you are excited about the company gives you landing pages and now all you have to do is put your landing page on adwords and you will start making sales.

Maybe back in 2001 that was possible today that simply is a waste of money time and effort. You will spend hundreds of dollars and probably never even make sale.

The reason for this is because Google adwords requirements are very demanding. The first problem is there are already people trying to use the same landing page as you on adwords and google will only show 1 webpage per top level domain name. That means unless its your personal domain name you aren’t going to be seen.

New Internet Marketers also make the mistake of not building the list. They usually care more about making the sale then they do about building their list. This is a terrible mistake, the money is in your list. It might take you 20 visits to website before you make a sale in the mean time you are loosing money because you aren’t capturing your visitors information.

You will have to learn some html make your own landing pages and build a list if you want to make money in the Internet Marketing Industry. Its unavoidable and the longer you put off learning the longer you will be broke.

Don’t fall prey to the “get rich quick mentality” Its simply not true

concentrate on expanding your sphere of influence and concentrate on building a relationship with your email subscribers and you will make money.
