Yes blogs are the easiest way to brand yourself online. They are free. I really do need to repeat that last statement loudly. THEY ARE FREE !

I really wish I paid more attention to blogging 6 years ago. My blog has only been around about year and it is responsible for much of the list building, branding, keyword infiltration I have gotten. You can be a complete newb and go after long tailed keyword phrases and get first page listing in Google with ease. If you learn how to apply web 2.0 tactics to your marketing you can literally skyrocket traffic to your website over night.

Blogger.com is a good place to get a blog, so is wordpress.com

Do you realize how much information there is on making money online. If you were to buy every ebook on the subject you would spend thousands and thousands of dollars. If you really want to brand yourself I recommend using other people's products to position yourself as the expert in your niche.

You need to earn trust. You can earn trust by given before you receive. You need a constant fresh supply of content and products you can offer to your customers.

The big question is this then. Why am I not selling all these so called products myself. I sell some of them. But you see I am in a moral bind. Just about every product that is being sold comes with private label rights or master label rights.

Many times I should say 8 out of 10 times if you own the rights you have the option to give them away for free. Thats right people right now as I am typing this are making money off of products that they COULD give away for free.

This causes a problem. Products that are worth 40 to 100 dollars are getting sold for 1 dollar. People are greedy and they end up de-valuing a product to make a buck. Sadly its only a buck.
